Reiki

Reiki restores the body’s natural energy flow, calms the nervous system, and gives clients a sense of peace and control over their health.

The technique is based on the belief that energy flows through all living things and that energy blockages can create stress, illness and stagnancy.

Reiki helps you to restore your own energy flow and maintain balance in all areas of your life.Reiki helps you to find balance and move stagnant energies so that you can find greater freedom in your life. Reiki is not only a technique, but a practice that helps you develop and strengthen your connection to yourself and others. If you are dealing with physical and emotional challenges or want to create and maintain wellness, Reiki can help you empower yourself to make the decisions that are best for you.

What to Expect

Reiki Sessions are held in a quiet and comfortable setting at Prideful Wellness. Clients lay fully clothed on a massage table and a calm environment is created with low-lighting, crystals, and soft music. Before the session begins, a brief intake form is completed to establish health, safety, and boundaries, followed by an opportunity for you to share any areas of concern and intentions.

When the session begins, you will lay on the soft table with soft or closed eyes and begin to feel the Practitioner use several hand placements to facilitate the movement of energy. The touch is light; the weight of a nickel. The practitioner’s hands may also be above you to assess energy. It is common to feel tingling, warmth, and to experience movement during the session. Clients often feel relaxed and sometimes fall asleep. Your practitioner stays mostly silent during your time, but may occasionally bring up images received both during the session and at the end. And there is always plenty of time to ask questions and share your experience when the session is complete.
